Landscapes
I am inspired by woodlands and seascapes, particularly on the ruggid West Cornish coast. The combination and contrast of the tranquility and unbridled power of nature facinates me. This could be gentle sunlight dappling through the lime green leaves of saplings in the Spring, or the dramatic and thunderous crashing of Atlantic waves on the jagged rock formations of inaccesable Cornish coves. I aim to capture the colours, textures and emotions that I see and feel when immersed in nature.
